Young Adults: Camping and Whitewater Rafting on Colorado River

Friday, June 2 to Saturday, June 3, 2017
Join us on Friday evening at Camp Riverside and then go whitewater rafting on the Upper Colorado River on Saturday afternoon. We’ll meet at the camp Friday evening and have some fun and fellowship. Saturday morning we will have devotional time followed by a morning of service at the camp. We’ll depart at noon to drive to MAD Adventures in Kremmling. The rafting trip starts at 1:00pm and costs $59 for adults and $49 for children (4-12 yrs).

Located near the headwaters of the Colorado River and the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park, the Upper Colorado rafting trips are perfect for those who want beautiful Canyon scenery and easy-to-navigate whitewater. You’ll see spectacular wildflowers, sheer granite canyon walls, and forest of blue spruce and Douglas fir trees. First-time boaters and families with children give trips on this river rave reviews.

Those with children under 4 are welcome to stay the afternoon at camp riverside and to take a day trip into Grand Lake, hike around the beautiful camp property or work with service crews to clean up and prepare our camp for the season ahead.
