Dr. Tony Lambert - Senior Pastor
Originally being from New Orleans, Louisiana has helped prepare Tony for the diversity of Denver. Attending high school and college in south Mississippi instilled a strong sense of community and allowed him to meet his wife Sherry, a native of Hattiesburg, MS. He has led small rural churches and some of the largest metropolitan churches in the nation. Tony and Sherry have an ability to adjust to local context without compromising biblical convictions. Their passion has always been to impact a region. Sherry shares Tony’s commitment to missions including church planting, pastor training, marriage conferences as well as leading women’s & men’s ministry in several states and ten different countries. Both continue to serve beyond the local Church on boards of universities, at seminaries, and through national, state and local committees.
The past six years they have focused on leading Riverside, a downtown church, to reach one of the fastest growing areas of the country. The church has repositioned herself to share the gospel with a city that has a median age of 34.
While loving most outdoor activity in general their free time is spent riding motorcycles in the mountains and adjusting to being grandparents of 5 grands who have all arrived within the past 5 years.
Tony has earned several degrees including a Doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary where he currently serves as trustee. Sherry has a degree in business and worked for years as a fitness instructor.
